Mulled or spiced wine has been around since the 1st century A.D., the
Romans were fond of drinking spiced wine and the drink has been a
festive favourite for centuries.
The kit contains dried orange slices, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice
berries, coriander seeds, star aniseed, ginger, a cotton drawstring bag and
This kit can be used to make mulled wine by Putting all the ingredients
into the drawstring bag provided, and add to a 750ml bottle of full
bodied red wine such as Merlot or Claret. Add 150ml of orange juice, and
heat on low for 30-45 minutes, do not allow to boil.
Pour into glasses and enjoy!.
The spices can also be used to make mulled cider and non-alcoholic
mulled apple juice.
